Folk Music Cafe The library meeting room was transformed for an evening of good music and delicious desserts. The Folk Music Cafe will be held the Third Thursday of the month, on October 16, November 20 and December 18. Admission is free. Sponsored by the Friends of the Mountainside Library. |

Plays in the Parking Lot -- 2008 Shakespeare's "Richard II" was performed in front of the MPL on July 25. It was a beautiful evening and another great performance. We look forward to the Next Stage Ensemble's return next season! |

Magic Jim -- July 2, 2008 Magician Jim Vargias was here on Wed, July 2nd, one of our many special events for this year's summer reading program. The show was a huge hit, evidenced by a very happy and enthusiastic audience. |

Plays in the Parking Lot -- 2008 Moliere's "Learned Ladies" was presented on Sat, June 28 by the Next Stage Ensemble of the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. It was a great show and a wonderful performance. We look forward to the company's return on July 25 for "Richard II" |
